The Problem With Kids Today

Just about every day you hear of a child shooting another child somewhere in America, whether it’s in a neighborhood, a house, a school or wherever it’s always happening. And people can’t understand why. All you have to do is look around you. Everywhere children turn today they are faced with violence. It’s in the movies and TV shows they watch; the music they listen to and the video games they play.  No child should ever play video games like The Punisher, Grand Theft Auto, The Getaway and the other video games like it. They teach children how to shoot other people. They think it’s okay to go to school and shoot someone because they’ve done it so much on the video game.

Herewith a few confessions from my beating heart: I have no freaking clue who Nick and Jessica are. I see them on the cover of People and Us constantly when I am buying my dog biscuits and kitty litter. I often ask the checkers at the grocery stores. They never know who Nick and Jessica are either. Who are they? Will it change my life if I know who they are and why they have broken up? Why are they so important?

Boosting Self Esteem

If you have low self esteem, it can cause problems in both home and professional life. You do not feel good about yourself and this may translate to poor workmanship in the office, being taken advantage of in personal and professional situations and not living up to the potential that you have. If you recognize within yourself that you have low self esteem, boosting self esteem is essential.
